We are excited to introduce a new collaboration with andSons Chocolatiers, combining the bold spirit of art and fine chocolate.
This special release celebrates Corita Kent’s iconic 1969 i in daisy from her groundbreaking heroes and sheroes series. In celebration of our new home, this piece shines as part of heroes and sheroes, a group of 29 prints responding to the turbulent social and political climate of 1960s America, the inaugural exhibition at Corita Art Center.
In i in daisy, a vivid blue silhouette of daisies rises above the handwritten words, “Hope is believing that there has to be an ‘I’ in ‘daisy.’” A prominent symbol of peace during the 1960s, the daisy here, with its blooming circle of petals, becomes an emblem of collective action and enduring hope, inviting viewers to find themselves within that shared symbol of peace.
Presented in a 12-piece chocolate box, each piece is a curated selection of AndSons’ signature confections, crafted to pair the richness of flavor with the richness of Corita’s vision. Through this collaboration, we celebrate Corita’s legacy of thoughtfulness and creativity, offering a memorable experience that melds art and celebration.
Proceeds from this limited-edition box benefit Corita Art Center’s mission to preserve and celebrate Corita’s enduring legacy, supporting exhibitions, programs, and educational initiatives inspired by her life and work.
